There are far too many people that live with clutter in our lives. While some clutter is understandable, having too much clutter around not only affects us when we realize it, but can also affect us subconsciously, not allowing us to really relax in the way in which we should. Most of the time the clutter that we have around our homes is not even something that we would recognize is there, or miss if it should happen to be gone. They say that a journey of 1000 miles begins with one step, and this could not be were true then when it comes to clutter management. If you don’t start somewhere, then you will never start, so pick a spot in the beginning there, I personally like to begin at the entrance to the room, as this is what people see when they first come in. I can work my way around the room systematically making sure that I do not believe one area before it is done, and making sure that I’d never go back to where I started. By doing your clutter management in this fashion will not only find that you get done quickly, but you will also be able to look at what you have already done and to gain encouragement by it.

You will also need to learn time management when you are learning clutter management. Not all of us have unlimited time to do what ever we want, and many of us to bite off more than we can chew at one time, so went knowing your clutter cleanup make sure that you set a time for the amount of time that you can work, and when the timer goes off you are finished. You will find very quickly that once you begin to finish projects, even just one project, that it will give you the desire to do more.
